Membership Information*

Membership can be terminated every year before the first of September by e-mailing knus@student.ru.nl. Ending the membership will then go into effect that September 1st. This is also the case when you have finished your studies; your membership will not end automatically.

Every year, members will be reminded about this by email in advance. When a member does not terminate their membership, the membership will automatically be extended with one year. The membership fee for Study Association KNUS is €12,50 until the General Members Assembly decides otherwise. The member will receive a notice of every upcoming collection. The enclosed form is an ongoing authorization of which the first collection will be during 2025-2026.

A SWIFT code is a code used to identify the country, bank and branch that an account is registered to. When you send money to a bank account overseas with WorldRemit, you’ll need this code to ensure your money’s going to the right place. A SWIFT code is sometimes called a BIC (Bank Identifier Code) – but they’re exactly the same thing. There are several websites that help you find a bank's SWIFT code. Simply choose the country and then the name of the bank.
Film material can appear on our Instagram stories. Photo material can appear on our Instagram stories. 10 pictures of each event where pictures are being taken, will appear on our Instagram feed. All good pictures taken at events will appear on the photos page on our website, which only members can see when they're logged in. You can also appear in our magazine of which there are 4 issues annually, the NUKS. The Board and Media Committee of Study Association KNUS will make sure that only flattering pictures of members will appear in KNUS's media. If you do not want your picture taken and used by KNUS, you can send an e-mail to knus@student.ru.nl. Make sure to let the Board know what activity you will first be present at and come up to them or our photographers at that event to let them know who you are and what you look like. Every year, the Secretary of KNUS will remind the members with an e-mail of our picture consent policy and members will then have the opportunity to cancel or give back consent.
