Welcome to KNUS!

We are KNUS, the study association of Algemene Cultuurwetenschappen (ACW), Arts and Culture Studies (ACS) and Samenleving, Taal en Cultuur (STC) at the Radboud university in Nijmegen.

Our study association is open to both internationals and Dutchies so feel free to take a look around and see if being a member of KNUS might be for you!

NOTE!

The KNUS website is currently being updated. If you have any complaints, blame our designer.

(sincerely, your very busy designer)

Community

Our Study Association provides community for students and mainly within the three ‘culture’ studies of Radboud. We use events, group-chats and other services to make your time on campus a lot more KNUS (translation: Cozy). We are a creative, supportive community that listens to everyone and tries to create a steady support-structure for first years as they take their first steps in the world of Radboud University.

University Life

University life can be pretty academic, but it isn’t just about studying. KNUS encourages our members to also take some time to experience the ‘student lifestyle’. We organize events all over campus and within city center so that you can get familiar with the new locations. We also spend time to connect with other study associations to allow our members to create even bigger networks of connection.

Academic Enrichment

Because we are a Study Association we also very much focus on academic topics and more formal events. We organize discussions, have connections to different formal events around campus (such as academic book clubs, talks and symposia) and try to make the academic part of Radboud University as approachable as possible for our members.

Personal Growth

We offer our members the opportunity to develop their own skills and add to their CV by volunteering at our study association. We have many committees that would very much appreciate extra hands, and a lot of different types of skills to learn: whether it’s taking pictures for the ComMedia, writing for the NUKS or organising formal events for the CarCo.
